Katie Page, Executive Director, 704-786-4001, Ext. 109
Katie joined Habitat Cabarrus because she enjoys impacting the lives of families in the community and wanted to help shape program growth and community outreach. Prior to joining Habitat Cabarrus Katie served as the Cabarrus County Administrative Manager at United Way Cabarrus County. She also served as a corporate event planner at ACN where she learned the art of juggling multiple projects and honed her organizational skills.

Shanell Smaw, Resource Development Director, 704-786-4001 Ext. 100
Shanell joined Habitat Cabarrus because she believes in being a vessel used by God, to improve the lives of others. Her passion for volunteerism began as a young child accompanying her grandmother on hospital visits as Chaplain where she learned the value of using her time, skills and smile to bring joy and light to others. She has served in a volunteer capacity for various organizations for 20 years. Prior to joining Habitat, Shanell worked with the NC REALTORS® as a Political Fundraising Specialist where she planned fundraising events for REALTOR® associations across NC.

Alida Zimmerman, Volunteer Coordinator, 704-786-4001, Ext. 111
Alida grew up in Chapel Hill and graduated from Elon University with a degree in Strategic Communications. She spent her junior and senior year working at a non-profit based out of Durham and quickly realized that life was about more than what classes you take and what job you get. This experience sparked a passion within her for helping others and now guides her through her life. She is grateful to be given the opportunity to have her passion also be her job and she is excited to use her organizational and creative skills to be a part of the Habitat Cabarrus team!

Tiffany Brown, Homeowner Services Coordinator, 704-786-4001 ext 110
Tiffany Brown began working for Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus in 2017, for the same reason she became a Social Worker; to help make a difference in the lives of others, to advocate for and to empower people to be their best selves. Tiffany was born in Toronto, Canada but was raised in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Since graduating from Florida A&M University, she has worked with children in foster care to ensure their safety and well-being. She has also worked with their families to heal and strengthen their relationships and with parents to be able to provide a safe and loving home environment for their children. Tiffany is passionate about helping families and being able to see them thrive.

Bob LaMarche, Site Supervisor, 704-786-4001, Ext. 112
Bob (also known as Bob the Builder) joined Habitat Cabarrus after nearly 35 years of construction experience in NH, FL, and NC. Bob's introduction to construction was framing houses for his father's construction business in his teens. Bob honed his construction expertise during two years of active Army service building bridges and roads as a civil engineer, with an additional fours years in the reserves. Bob builds stuff.
Bob's journey to Habitat began when he took part in a Florida Habitat program to build 100 houses in 90 days. He loved it. After moving the NC, Bob volunteered on a Habitat work day and liked it so much he asked about open positions.

Favorite Part of Working for Habitat: Bob loves seeing homeowner's faces at dedications and teaching the volunteers how to build.
Family: Happily married to his beautiful wife Donna. They have four children: Michael, Courtney, Josh, and Chase.

E.B. Lentz, Finance Manager, 704-786-4001, Ext. 106
E.B. joined Habitat Cabarrus after 23 years with Cannon Mills/ Fieldcrest Cannon/ Pillowtex as a cost accountant. His attention to detail helped the mills effectively track materials, labor, and overhead costs. As much as E.B. enjoyed the accounting work he also enjoyed the opportunities to interact with the people in the plant.
Eventually E.B. desired a change of pace with more variety in the work and an increase in personal interactions. He found the right mix of accounting and atmosphere at Habitat Cabarrus. E.B. enjoys knowing his efforts really impact lives in his community.
E.B. graduated from UNC with a B.S. in Business Administration/ Accounting. He is a certified managment accountant and a licensed real estate broker.
He also enjoys cheering for UNC football and the Intimidators as a season ticket holder.

Christine Hernandez, Administrative Assistant, 704-786-4001, Ext. 108
In 2016 Christine Hernandez joined the Habitat Cabarrus staff as an administrative assistant after seven years with Concord First Assembly (CFA). At CFA Christine worked in the finance office and held many accounting responsibilities such as paying bills, creating expense reports, and reconciling accounts for budgeting. She really enjoyed the environment but the opportunity to be more directly involved with the community and to directly touch lives led Christine to join Habitat Cabarrus. Her previous work experiences included invoicing and accounts receivable for an interior trim company and as a field coordinator for a wireless infrastructure organization. Christine further developed her eye for detail when she earned her professional organizer certification.
Joined Habitat Cabarrus in 2016
Education: Christine came to Cabarrus County after living in NY and Florida and attended Genesee Community College in Batavia, NY.
Family: Married to husband Ray whom Christine says recognized true love immediately. They are parents to three children and one grandchild.
Favorite part of working at Habitat: Being able to see the tangible differences a stable home makes.

Dale Irvin, ReStore General Manager, 704-786-4000
Dale joined ReStore in 2010 after 10 years with the Concord Independent Tribune newspaper in their marketing department where he wore many hats - from graphic design to advertising sales. Dale enjoyed the fast pace and the opportunity to use his skills across departments in the organization. His previous role was advertising and marketing entrepreneur where Dale designed multiple campaigns creating everything from logos to print materials. Dale started his business after working for the Charlotte Observer. Dale uses his marketing expertise to promote the ReStore’s ideals and philosophy and to expand its community outreach.
Education: B.S. Marketing from Appalachian State University.
Hometown: Concord, NC
Dale is married to his lovely and supportive wife Meg. They have three children: David, Blakely, and Thomas. They hope to add a dog to the mix some day.
Favorite part of working at the ReStore: Two aspects really resonate with Dale. It’s local and it’s green. The donors and buyers are right here for the most part. In addition ReStore gets to recycle and helps keep items out of our landfills. Dale was active in the Boy Scouts of America and earned his Eagle Scout rank. The Boy Scout tenant about leaving the land better than you found it has stayed with me.

Most Prized Possession: You can’t call Family a possession but I do prize it.
Favorite place to visit: The mountains – Montreat in particular.
